Peruvian olives registered shipments in April 2025 that reached 2,940 tons and generated US$ 5.73 million in revenues, representing a 44% growth in volume and 21% in value compared to the same month of the previous year, despite a -16% drop in average price, which stood at US$ 1.95 per kilogram. The shipments for that month used DP World's (73% of total exports) and APM Terminals' (remaining 27%) exit terminals. The olive presentations with the highest demand were olives in brine (47% of exported value), with 2,208 tons and US$ 2.70 million (US$ 1.22 per kilogram). Followed by olives in oil (33%), with 381 tons for US$ 1.92 million (US$ 5.04 per kilogram); and fresh olives (8%), with 192 tons for US$ 444,535 (US$ 2.30 per kilogram). Brazil was the main destination in April, absorbing 36% of the exported value with 1,183 tons for a value of US$ 2.08 million (US$ 1.76 per kilogram).
