Between January and October of 2025, the Peruvian blueberry consolidated its leadership in the global market. Thanks to early varieties, an increase in shipment volumes was recorded from April, and each month shipments exceeded the levels reached in the same period of 2024. For this period, Peru added 298,883 tons for $1,819 million, representing an increase of 29% in volume and 6% in value compared to the same period of 2024, according to the consultancy Fresh Fruit. The presence of Peruvian blueberries in the global market from the early months of the year has generated a greater flow of supply that pressured prices downward, but, thanks to the additional volume, it left the exported value in positive territory.
