(Agraria.pe) Peru began its participation yesterday in Fruit Logistica 2026, the most important fair for fresh fruits and vegetables globally, which, in this edition, will take place until February 6 in Berlin, Germany. In the national pavilion, a wide and diverse range of products is on display, such as blueberries, avocados, grapes, mangoes, asparagus, citrus fruits, ginger, turmeric, cocoa, raspberries, mandarins, and organic products. Regarding this, Arturo Medina Castro, general manager of the Association of Avocado Producers and Exporters of Peru (ProHass), pointed out that the expectation of European importers for Peru is always high thanks to flagship products like blueberries and grapes, where we are the main supplier globally. He also highlighted that Peru is the second exporter of avocados worldwide (after Mexico); however, we are the primary supplier in Europe.
