With the aim of addressing the progressive soil degradation that affects yields, the quality of the grain, and the health of coffee plantations, the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Piura, through the Agrarian Agency Huarmaca, developed specialized technical assistance in fertilization aimed at 100 coffee producers from the Molulo hamlet, in the middle area of the Huarmaca district. The technical action was oriented to strengthen the proper management of fertilization, a key practice for replenishing essential soil nutrients, improving plant development, and increasing their resistance to pests and diseases. These factors are crucial for ensuring the sustainability of the coffee plantations and the continuity of coffee production in the district.
