The total cargo mobilized in the ports of the Valparaíso region (including the ports and terminals of Ventanas, Valparaíso, and San Antonio, among others) during February was 3.83 million tons, registering a decrease of 0.1%. Compared to the previous month, it recorded a decrease of 0.29 million tons, representing a drop of 7.0%, reported the National Institute of Statistics of Chile (INE). Meanwhile, the accumulated figure for the year 2026 reaches 7.94 million tons, a quantity that noted a negative variation of 2.8%, which translated to 0.23 million tons less compared to the same period of the previous year.
