Peru: Potato production decreased by 10.5% in October 2023

In October 2023, national potato production reached 198,083 tons, representing a decrease of 10.5% compared to the same month of the previous year (221,301 tons). This decline was influenced by the reduction in planted areas and unfavorable climatic conditions that affected the growth and vegetative development of the crop.
