The article provides an overview of the agricultural market in Ukraine, focusing on the trade of various crops and fruits. Despite a decrease in sales, potatoes remain the most popular vegetable, followed closely by onions with a 40% increase in supply. Other vegetables like carrots, beets, tomatoes, garlic, bell peppers, and Chinese cabbage are also in high demand. Apples, despite quality issues, and table grapes are the leading fruits in the fruit and berry segment. However, the prices of carrots, beets, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers are increasing due to a decrease in supply, while white cabbage, sweet pepper, and cauliflower are becoming cheaper. The market is also seeing an increase in the trade of dried fruits and nuts, with plans to establish a pistachio processing plant in Georgia. Additionally, the article highlights the impact of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine on the agricultural sector and the efforts of cooperatives to shift their focus to meeting the population's food needs.
