Brazilian exports of poultry genetics rise 93.7% in March compared to March/22, to 3,038 tons

By Sandy Oliveira São Paulo, 04/19/2023 - Brazilian exports of poultry genetics, considering fertile eggs and day-old chicks, totaled 3,038 tons in March, 93.7% more compared to the same month of 2022 , of 1,569 tons. Revenue last month was US$ 27.842 million, an increase of 84.7% compared to March 2022, informs the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).

Revenue last month was US$ 27.842 million, an increase of 84.7% compared to March 2022, informs the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA). In the first quarter, 7,685 tons were shipped, 92.5% more than the result in the same month of 2022, with 3,991 tons. Revenue already amounts to US$ 70.080 million, up 70.3% compared to that recorded in the first three months of 2022, with US$ 41.157 million. Mexico was the main destination for exports in the period, with 1,719 tons, a volume 279% greater than that recorded in the same period of 2022.
