Russia has seen a significant increase of 64% in poultry meat exports since the start of 2022, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. The country is already self-sufficient in poultry and the increase in production is leading to higher exports abroad. The Ministry does not provide absolute figures but emphasizes that chicken and turkey are the primary exports. Additionally, Russia is implementing around 30 new investment projects in poultry farming, which is expected to further boost exports in the future.
