Spain: Prices of extra virgin olive oil at origin remain with slight fluctuations

From November 16 to 22, the market prices and operations of various olive oil categories were monitored and reported. The prices per ton for extra virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil, and lampante olive oil were recorded at 2,652 euros, 2,050 euros, and 1,851 euros respectively. A total of 40 operations led to the production of 2,402 tons of olive oil. Separately, the prices for the picual variety of olive oil from Jaén saw an increase, with extra virgin, virgin, and lampante priced at 2,690 euros, 2,050 euros, and 2,000 euros respectively, following six operations that produced 320 tons of oil.
