Prices for popular last year's vegetables in Ukraine continue to rise. For the second week in a row, beets are becoming more expensive, with prices increasing for both last year's produce and beets from the current harvest. EastFruit project analysts noted that last year's vegetable has risen in price from 30-33 to 45-50 hryvnias per kilogram, and this year's - from 50-55 to 55-60. At the same time, early potatoes in Ukraine have begun to get cheaper - from 70-80 to 45-65 UAH/kg, while prices for last year's potatoes have increased from 18-25 to 23-25 UAH/kg. Meanwhile, despite seasonal depletion of stocks, producers were forced to lower onion prices from 25-26 to 23-25 UAH/kg. Tomatoes were sold more expensively than a week earlier. Prices for this popular vegetable jumped from 55-90 to 60-110 UAH/kg. At the same time, the cost of zucchini decreased from 63-73 to 30-65 UAH/kg, and radishes - from 25-30 to 22-25 UAH/kg.
