Poultry feed and raw material prices in the markets saw a decline on April 30, 2024, with broiler feed prices fluctuating between 21,300 and 22,600 pounds for fattening feed. The price of laying poultry feed ranged between 17,000 and 20,000 pounds, while livestock feed ranged between 9,000 and 17,800 pounds. The price of imported corn, a crucial raw material, also decreased by 400 pounds. The prices of soybean meal, corn, and corn meal increased due to the Russian-Ukrainian war and a rise in global fuel prices. The head of the Poultry Wealth Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, explained that the price of poultry feed varies based on quality and the cost of freight.
