Non-copper exports from Chile have seen a significant increase of 16.1% to a total of USD 31,726 million up to October 2021 compared to the same period last year. This growth is attributed to over 30 products, including iron, pork, cherries, and pharmaceutical products, which experienced substantial increases in export revenues. The Asian market, particularly China, the United States, and Brazil, have been the primary contributors to this growth. October 2021 saw non-copper exports reach USD 3,111 million, with notable growth in salmon and trout, cellulose, molybdenum, copper wire, and services.
