A group of rural producers, in a delegation with the Uberaba Producers' Union, got up close with the innovations and advancements in cocoa planting in fruit farms in Northern Minas Gerais. The region, especially the cities of Jaíba and Janaúba, has been registering growth in cocoa cultivation in non-traditional areas, with plantings in consortium with other fruits, such as bananas. The objective of the visit was to exchange experiences so that producers from the Triângulo Mineiro can start planning investments in the segment. “This is the third technical visit we have made to learn details about the cocoa culture.
