Production of cottage cheese in Russia in 2025 grew by 3.1%, to 496 thousand tons, butter - by 2.1%, to 341 thousand tons, cheeses - by 1.7%, to 874 thousand tons, according to Rosstat materials. Production of milk, except raw, last year increased by 0.3%, to 6 million tons. Meanwhile, the output of fermented milk products decreased by 0.9%, to 2.2 million tons. At the same time, the production of cattle meat, pork, mutton, goat meat, and horse meat increased by 1.6%, to 3.9 million tons, and meat and food by-products of poultry - by 2.1%, to 5.3 million tons. However, according to statistics, the production of sausage products decreased by 0.4%, to 2.5 million tons, and processed and canned fish - by 4.1%, to 4.1 million tons. The production of margarine in 2025 increased by 2.4%, to 467 thousand tons. Meanwhile, the output of wheat and wheat-rye flour decreased by 4.9%, to 8.8 million tons, groats - by 5.7%, to 1.8 million tons, and white beet sugar in solid form - by 4.5%, to 6.3 million tons.
