Ukraine's hazelnut cultivation has seen a resurgence due to climate change, offering a profitable business opportunity. Hazelnuts are essential for chocolate and candy production and fetch a minimum price of 2.5 euros per kilogram. The highest yield is achieved between six and eight years, with at least 2-2.5 tons per hectare. Hazelnut plantations have transitioned from private gardens to industrial settings, with plans to certify and export. Additionally, intensive nut orchards with high planting density are becoming popular, increasing yield and reducing risk.
