The Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha have approved this Thursday, with the favorable vote of the parliamentary groups of PSOE and PP, the law proposition related to determining the representativeness of agricultural organizations in Castilla-La Mancha, which updates the current regulation that has been in force since 1977. In the plenary session of the Cortes where the regulation was debated and approved, the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Julián Martínez Lizán, highlighted that this law overcomes "a regulatory gap that has existed for a long time". The minister pointed out that it will establish a procedure that is "clear, transparent, and adapted to the reality of the sector" to determine which agricultural organizations are representative of farmers and ranchers in Castilla-La Mancha.
