The Brazilian government has successfully opened the Qatari market for its goat and sheep meat exports, following the approval of the International Health Certificate. This move is set to enhance the bilateral trade agenda, as Brazil has already exported around US$ 200 million in agricultural products to Qatar from January to September, predominantly consisting of animal proteins like poultry and beef. This achievement marks the 182nd market opening for Brazilian agribusiness in 2023, with a total of 260 market openings across 61 destinations, facilitated by the collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
