In the first half of the year, Kazakhstan's fruit and berry exports dropped by 21.5% to 22.1 thousand tons, generating $6.9 million. Apple exports were halved, and there were significant decreases in cherries, strawberries, and blueberries. Melon sales plummeted fivefold, and date exports fell by 16%. Watermelon exports saw a slight decrease, while grape exports surged by 2.6 times. Exports of apricots, peaches, and plums to Russia and Tajikistan increased, and pineapple exports to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan rose by 2.7 times.
