Retail prices for pork in Ukraine increased 2% during June

Prices for chilled pork semi-finished products on supermarket shelves increased by an average of 2% during June. This change in retail prices for pork is reported by analysts of the "Swinemakers of Ukraine" Association based on the results of monthly price monitoring of national retail chains. In the first month of summer, pork prices in retail chains increased by UAH 3.4/kg or by 1.7% on average, according to the results of the June monitoring of supermarket prices by the Analytical Department of the ASU. So, if at the beginning of the month a kilogram of chilled pork cost UAH 202.7/kg, then at the end of June its price increased to UAH 206.07/kg, and the average indicator for the analyzed period was UAH 204.6/kg, which is 1% higher than its May level.
