REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The President Director of Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said that his party will prepare a number of additional warehouses. This is in line with the plan to absorb rice which is projected to increase in 2026. “What we underlined earlier was Bulog's plan to absorb rice which will be higher than last year, around 4 million tons. Now, in relation to these 4 million tons, we must prepare, that is, prepare additional warehouses,” said Rizal when met at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs (Kemenko) Office, Jakarta, on Monday (29/12/2025). This step is in line with the plan to increase the government's rice reserves from 3 million tons to 4 million tons, as discussed in the coordination meeting for the determination of the Government Food Reserves (CPP) for 2026.
