The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province announced today that rice prices remain stable, with minor increases and decreases depending on the type. Notably, IR 50404, OM 5451, and OM 18 rice saw slight increases, while OM 380 and Nhat rice remained stable. Transactions were slow with low volume and few buyers in localities such as Soc Trang and Dong Thap. Meanwhile, the glutinous rice market also remained stable. In retail markets, prices for by-products and individual rice products varied, and in the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices have been adjusted, with 100% broken rice at 432 USD/ton, 5% standard rice at 532 USD/ton, and 25% broken rice at 504 USD/ton, all showing decreases from the previous day.
