In Hau Giang, many types of rice also had a decrease in price such as: IR 50404 reduced by 100 VND/kg, to 6,500 VND/kg; OM 18 reduced 300 VND/kg to 6,800 VND/kg; RVT alone is 8,200 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg. In An Giang, rice prices also had a downward adjustment for rice varieties such as IR 50404, OM 5451, OM 18 and Nang Hoa 9. Specifically, IR 50404 rice decreased by 200 VND/kg to 5,400 - 5,500 VND/kg. The same decrease also occurred with OM 5451 rice from 5,300 to 5,500 VND/kg; OM 18 trades at 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg.
