Rising dairy prices in Ukraine are holding back limited demand

The average price of pasteurized milk with a fat content of 2.5% has increased by 60 kopecks compared to July 2023 and by UAH 5.69 compared to last year. The cheapest brand of milk is "Every day" packaged in film, while the most expensive is "Zlagoda" in bottles. The price of kefir with a fat content of 2.5% has also increased by 21 kopecks compared to July and by UAH 4.2 compared to last year. The cheapest kefir is Pouce brand in film, while the most expensive is "Molokia" in bottles. The price of sour cream with a fat content of 15% has increased by 37 kopecks compared to July and by UAH 20.14 compared to last year. The cheapest sour cream is "Auchan" in film, while the most expensive is "Selyanska" in jars. The price of drinkable yogurt has increased by 11 kopecks compared to July and by UAH 11.95 compared to last year. The cheapest brand of yogurt is "RadyMo Peach-Passion" in film, while the most expensive is "Miracle" in plastic bottles. The price of butter with a fat content of 72.5% to 73% has increased by UAH 5.03 compared to July and by UAH 55.92 compared to last year. The cheapest brand of butter is "Harmony of Taste" with a fat content of 73%, while the most expensive is lactose-free oil by "Cheese Club". The price of "Ukrainian" cheese with a fat content of 50% has increased by UAH 14.94 compared to last month and by UAH 119 compared to last year. The cheapest "Ukrainian" cheese is UAH 199.6 per kg, while the most expensive is "Shostka" at UAH 591.11 per kg. The average price of domestically produced Maasdam cheese with a fat content of 45% has decreased by 13.68 kopecks compared to July, but increased by UAH 130.53 compared to last year. The cheapest Maasdam cheese is UAH 277.9 per kg, while the most expensive is "Auchan" brand at UAH 673.94 per kg. The price of Gouda cheese with a fat content of 45% has decreased by 10.2 kopecks compared to July, but increased by UAH 67.23 compared to last year. The cheapest Gouda cheese is sold by CJSC "Moloko" at UAH 159.99 per kg, while the most expensive is Auchan brand at UAH 605.52 per kg.
