The 52nd session of the Joint Russian-Norwegian Fisheries Commission has set Russia's national quota at 24.6 thousand tons, which has been distributed among 21 users. The capelin catch in the Barents Sea for the reporting period was 11 thousand tons, accounting for 44.3% of the national quota. The meeting also discussed the forecast for capelin distribution and catch in the future and addressed the issue of unloading catches. The port of Murmansk is ready to receive ships and has the necessary storage and transshipment capacities for fish products.
