Rumo projects to move 7.5 million tons of grains and soybean meal in Goiás by 2026

During the Tecnoshow Comigo 2026, held in Rio Verde (GO), the Commercial Director of Grains of Rumo, Diogo Velloso, stated that the company projects to move around 7.5 million tons of grains and soybean meal originating from Goiás throughout this year. Of the estimated total, approximately 6.4 million tons are expected to correspond to grains, while 1.1 million tons will be soybean meal, with operations concentrated in the company's terminal in the municipality. According to Velloso, the volume of cargo moved by Rio Verde has been continuously growing. In 2025, the terminal moved around 6.5 million tons, with 5.7 million tons of grains and 800 thousand tons of soybean meal. The progress highlights the strengthening of the company's logistics structure in the region and the increased demand for the outflow of local agricultural production.
