In 2022, the Russian Federation exported 60,000 tons of peas to Venezuela, adhering to the country's phytosanitary requirements. India has permitted the import of trial batches of lentils from Russia until June 2024, pending laboratory studies. China has allowed imports of peas from 110 Russian enterprises, following a protocol signed in October. The most significant development of the year was the agreement with China, allowing the export of wheat and barley from any region in Russia. The Russian Ministry of Agricultural Development is now processing the inclusion of winter wheat and barley in the list of exports to China.
