Exports of Black Sea salmon from Turkey have seen a significant increase, with a 233% rise in volume and an 188% rise in value compared to the same period last year. The majority of these exports were to Russia, followed by Vietnam and Japan. Other countries including Ukraine, Algeria, Canada, the USA, and Sweden also received these exports. Ismail Kobya, a member of the DKIB Board of Directors, highlighted the high demand for Black Sea salmon grown in artificial reservoirs in Turkey, with Russia accounting for 85% of the total exports of this product.
