The growth driver was the sale of dried peas: deliveries increased by 64% to 1.2 million tons in physical terms and 2.2 times to $378 million in monetary terms. Exports of dried chickpeas increased by 44% to $193 million, lentils - 2.8 times to $119 million. More than half of the export of legumes (54.5%) falls on peas, more than a quarter (27.9%) - on chickpeas, the share of lentils is 17.2%, beans - 0.3%. Turkey became the number one buyer. Over the year, the volume of imports to this country increased 2.4 times to 414 thousand tons in physical terms and 4.1 times to $206 million in monetary terms. In second place is Pakistan, which purchased 239 thousand tons of leguminous crops from Russia (minus 24% by 2020) in the amount of $111 million (plus 16%). Bangladesh ranked third among importers: pea exports immediately increased 3.4 times to 209 thousand tons in kind and 4.2 times to $72 million in money terms.
