Starting in 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will introduce federal support measures for organic producers as part of the federal project "Development of Small Agribusiness." This was announced by Renata Bibarsova, Head of the Department for the Development of Small Agribusiness at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. "Farmers and cooperatives that produce organic products or process them will receive government support amounting to 10% more. We will expand the range of government support depending on the demand among organic producers themselves. Some regions are already actively participating in supporting organic producers, and there are various support measures. We will build on this experience," Bibarsova noted.
