The Russian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service has reported a positive growth trend in the export of most livestock products from Russia in the first 11 months of 2024. There has been a significant increase in the export volume of pig and cattle by-products, pork, beef, meat and poultry by-products, and meat finished products. The main importers of these products are the Eurasian Economic Union, CIS member states, Middle Eastern, and African countries. However, there has been a decline in the export volume of fish and seafood, mutton, and horse meat. The agency is also working towards obtaining electronic certificates for import and export animal quarantine.
