In 2024, Russia's turkey meat made up 8% of the country's total poultry production and over 6% of its poultry exports. The country exported 27,700 tons of turkey products, an 8% increase from the previous year, to 37 countries. China was the main importer, receiving 59.5% of Russia's turkey exports (16,000 tons), marking a over 72% increase in sales to the Chinese market. The Damaj Group, the largest turkey producer in Russia, played a significant role in these exports.
