For this mango season (January to September), exports of this food to the United States are estimated to exceed 350 thousand tons, reported the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader). This year, 19 thousand 734 orchards from Colima, Chiapas, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Oaxaca, and Sinaloa were registered, with a planted area of over 102 thousand hectares. In 2025, the value of exports of this food to the neighboring country was 559 million 158 thousand 876 dollars. As of the cut-off on March 30, 45 thousand 230 tons have been shipped and 161 lots have been canceled due to sanitary inspection issues, which equates to 0.82 percent of shipments to the United States. While in 2025, the percentage of canceled lots was 1.57 percent.
