Banco do Brasil announced this Thursday (3rd) that it will allocate R$ 230 billion for the 2025/26 crop season. The amount represents a 2% growth compared to the previous crop season. R$ 54 billion will be destined for small and medium producers. For agricultural business, covering large producers, cooperatives, and agro-industry, R$ 106 billion in resources are highlighted. Regarding purposes, from the rural credit perspective, the volume will be distributed in modalities of cultivation (R$ 97 billion), investment (R$ 44 billion), commercialization and industrialization (R$ 19 billion). An additional R$ 70 billion will be directed to securities, such as CPRs, and agribusiness value chain businesses.
