Since the leadership launched Vision 2030, it seeks to make Saudi Arabia the largest exporter of dates in the world, within the framework of achieving the goals of the vision by enhancing the sector’s contribution to the development of manufacturing industries and the development of non-oil industrial exports, as the global production volume of dates reached 9.2 million tons of dates, the size of Trading amounted to 7.9 billion riyals, with Saudi Arabia accounting for 15% of it with a production volume of 1.55 million tons. And the TradeMab website of the World Trade Center announced that Saudi Arabia ranked first in the world in exports of dates last 2021 in terms of value, as the value of Saudi exports of dates during the same year amounted to 1.215 billion riyals.
