Serbia and Croatia overtook Ukraine in terms of apple supplies to Singapore in 2021

According to EastFruit, in 2021 Ukraine continued to lose its position in the fresh apple market in Singapore. At the end of the calendar year, Ukraine took only 14th place in the ranking of the largest apple suppliers to this country, supplying only 42 tons of apple - the same as in 2020. In addition, among European suppliers, Ukraine in terms of the supply of apples to Singapore was also ahead of Serbia and Croatia. At the same time, Croatia has not previously supplied an apple to the Singapore market, and Serbia has increased its exports by one and a half times in 2021. France and Italy exported the largest volumes of European apples to this country of the ASEAN region - 1.9 and 0.7 thousand tons, respectively. Thus, Ukraine took only the fifth place among the largest European suppliers of apples to Singapore.
