The harvested area is expected to total 607,075 hectares, while this year’s yield is seen at 5.9 tonnes per hectare, the statistical office said in a data release. When compared to the 2015-2024 ten-year average, wheat production is expected to rise 25% in 2025. According to preliminary data the statistics office released in September, Serbia last year harvested 2.9 million tonnes of wheat on an area of 549,032 hectares, with a yield of 5.3 tonnes per hectare.
