In Tajikistan, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the country, around 324 thousand tons of fruits and grapes have been harvested by the end of the first decade of August, reports EastFruit. Fruit production in Tajikistan increased by 32.4%, adding 73 thousand tons, compared to the same period last year. Grape production also showed an impressive growth – by 38.2%. Overall, the plant growing sector this year showed a growth in production volumes by 9%, reaching 15.9 billion somoni.
