Its fruit of intense color and rich in antioxidants is considered a superfood, which has generated a growing national and international demand, reflected in a growth in exports in the last decade, reaching 424 tons in 2017. For this reason, the project "Development of a technological package for the establishment and commercial production of maqui (Aristotelia chilensis) under sustainable management that mitigates the effects of climate change" was born, executed by Agrícola, Ganadera y Forestal Queñi SpA y Comercial GoodFood4U SpA (Nativ for Life) with the support of the Foundation for Agricultural Innovation (FIA).
