Grain producers in a specific region have seen a increase in average export unit prices by 10.9%, despite selling 12.4% less product, due to a diversity of products and increased sales in the Iraqi market. The Middle East's share in total exports exceeded 50%, making it the leading grain export region in Turkey. The region's President emphasized the importance of maintaining quality and fighting against any compromise that could harm the region's reputation. Despite a decrease in global food prices, the region's export revenues increased by 10.9%, with high margin products such as sweet biscuits, wafers and chocolate contributing to the increase.
