Sowing of sugar beets has started in five regions of Ukraine

In Ukraine, the sowing campaign has started in 18 regions. In total, farmers sowed 293,000 hectares of grain and leguminous crops.
This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
In terms of crops, the 2023 crop currently looks like this:
Over the past week, a total of 210,000 hectares of grain and leguminous crops were sown, among the leaders of Ternopil Oblast - 47,200 hectares and 67,600 hectares. spring grain and leguminous crops.
Sugar beets began to be sown in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy. Sunflower sowing has begun in Odesa region.
We will remind you that the projected area of grain and industrial crops for the 2023 harvest in the territory controlled by Ukraine is 19.3 million hectares. This indicator remained almost at the level of the previous season - 19.8 million hectares.
