Spain is the seventh largest exporting power in the world and the fourth in the European Union, and Spanish sheep exports have grown by 35% in value, with growth prospects in markets such as Japan, the United States, Singapore, and New Zealand. This was explained by María Naranjo Crespo, Director of Agri-Food Industry at ICEX, on the occasion of the National Sheep Market, organized by the Spanish Association of Markets and Origin Exchanges (Aelmo) in collaboration with the Ebro Agricultural Market in Zaragoza, which was attended by 300 professionals from across Spain.
