Spain has become the world leader in organic cultivation, surpassing countries like Italy, Argentina, South Africa, and the United States. The regions of Murcia, Andalusia, and the Community of Valencia are the main producers of organic lemon, with Murcia currently leading with 4,901 hectares. Andalusia has the largest area for organic grapefruit with 306 hectares.
