[Korean Farmers' News Reporter Se Sang-hyeon] South Korea's agricultural ODA (Official Development Assistance) project currently being promoted in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, the 'Seed Potato Production and Propagation System Capacity Enhancement Project,' is attracting attention. Through this project, facilities for producing and propagating high-quality, disease-free seed potatoes are being established at the Samarkand Agricultural Innovation Research University (SamATI, Samati) and have been operational since 2024. It is expected that this facility will play a significant role in the innovation and technology transfer of seed potato production and agricultural technology in Uzbekistan. The results of the 'Uzbekistan Seed Potato Production, Distribution, and Certification System Master Plan (Comprehensive Plan)' were held at SamATI on November 1.
