[Special Feature] Mastering Korea's Agricultural Technology...Establishing a Foundation for Mass Production of 'High-Quality, Disease-Free Seed Potatoes'

South Korea's agricultural ODA (Official Development Assistance) project, the 'Seed Potato Production and Proliferation System Capacity Building Project' being promoted in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, is attracting attention. Through this project, facilities for producing and proliferating high-quality, virus-free seed potatoes are being built at the Samarkand Agricultural Innovation Research University (SamATI) and have been operational since 2024. There is local expectation that this place will play a significant role in the innovation and technology transfer of seed potato production and agricultural technology in Uzbekistan.
