Russia: Stavropol increased grain exports to the CIS countries and the Middle East

Last year, the Stavropol Territory supplied almost 568.5 thousand tons of grain products to foreign markets, the correspondent of KazakhZerno.kz reports. According to the statistics of the North Caucasian interregional department of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the largest dynamics in exports is recorded in the markets that traditionally buy Stavropol grain and oilseeds. Thus, Belarus purchased 73% more grain in the Stavropol Territory in 2022 (almost 78 thousand tons). Basically, it is rapeseed, flax, soybean, sunflower. Good growth in shipments to the Uzbek market: + 42%. Over 1,000 tons of chickpeas and wheat have been delivered. Kazakhstan increased grain imports by 88%, having purchased over 2.5 thousand tons.
