Ukraine: Sumy region increased the export of eggs by almost 40%

In 2020, the export of chicken eggs from the Sumy region exceeded the indicators of the previous year by 39%, or 4.1 million pieces. The export of oil and sunflower meal also increased by 9.3 and 5.6 times, respectively. This is reported by the Department of Agroindustrial Development of the Sumy Regional State Administration. It is noted that in 2020, enterprises of Sumy region sold food products to more than 20 countries. Traditionally, beef meat produced in the Sumy region was supplied to consumers in Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, China; poultry meat - to Benin, Azerbaijan; hard and soft cheese - to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, UAE, USA; butter - to Azerbaijan, Georgia, USA, Armenia, Kazakhstan; powdered milk - to Azerbaijan, China, Egypt, Georgia, Albania, Bangladesh, South Africa; chicken eggs - in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman; oil and sunflower meal - to Poland, Belarus.
