Meanwhile, blueberries, the top crop among eight major Peruvian exports, were sent to 59% of the US market. Asparagus exports experienced a slight increase, but pomegranate exports saw a decrease of 11% with notable growth in Middle Eastern, African, and Latin American markets. Avocado exports are expected to increase by 13% in the 2023/2024 season, with the Netherlands being the primary recipient.
