Taiwanese breeding of new watermelon and apple melon varieties in Saint Lucia

The Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) continues to test new fruit varieties in Saint Lucia. In April, the team highlighted the cultivation of two watermelon varieties and a new type of melon called apple melon. The new varieties were grown from non-genetically modified seeds that were brought to Saint Lucia via the TTM breeding team.
