Paraná, the largest producer of beans in the country, is expected to register a minimum reduction of 100 thousand tons in the productive potential for the 2025/26 cycle. According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (18) by the Department of Rural Economy, from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply, the current estimate is 745 thousand tons, considering the three harvests of the state. After two consecutive years with production above 800 thousand tons, the decline is mainly associated with the impact of prices on the cultivated area.
