The Archivel Lamb Fair of Segure postponed until March in prevention against the 'bluetongue'

The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz will postpone until March 2026 the celebration of the Feria del Cordero Segureño y la Ganadería Extensiva de Archivel, initially scheduled for October 16, 17, 18, and 19, 2025. This postponement has been agreed upon after various meetings held with the local ranchers and the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia, with the aim of acting preventively in light of the current situation of the 'bluetongue' disease, detected in the Northwest Murcia region and neighboring areas.
